When Dionne Devell Brister decided to establish her salon in the heart of downtown New Orleans, she had a vision to create an environment where men and women could escape, if only for a moment, the hustle and bustle of the city. With that vision realized, D’devell’s is more than a salon, it’s a place where one can socialize; refine their taste; increase their knowledge through tête-à-tête (discussion) or simply relax and meditate. It’s a place where one can release the weight of the world.
